PWS Nordic AB (hereinafter referred to as "PWS", "we", "our" or "us") is the controller of your personal data in the PWS Media Bank. We process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation in Sweden and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We recognise that providing personal data requires a high level of trust. We take this responsibility seriously and are committed to processing your personal data securely, confidentially and only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Screentek AS is our supplier and data processor for the development, operation and maintenance of the PWS Media Bank. Information collected through the PWS Media Bank is stored on dedicated servers operated by the supplier. Only PWS and Screentek AS have access to the personal data collected. A separate Data Processing Agreement between PWS and Screentek AS governs how personal data is processed and protected.
What information do we collect from you?
Depending on how you access the PWS Media Bank, we may collect your name, email address and, where applicable, your employer's or organisation's name and the intended purpose for downloading files.
For registered users, we also process the login credentials required to maintain their account.
We also store information about the files you download from the PWS Media Bank and the date and time of each download.
How do we use the information?
The information is used to provide you with access to the PWS Media Bank and the files you download, to maintain access for registered users, and to ensure that downloaded files are used in accordance with the agreements made with our contributors, such as photographers who have supplied images.
We also use aggregated download data for statistical and reporting purposes to help us improve and further develop the PWS Media Bank.
From time to time, we may send registered users information about updates to the PWS Media Bank or invite them to participate in user surveys.
Registered user accounts that remain inactive for a period of 24 months will automatically be deleted.
Files downloaded from the PWS Media Bank may only be used in accordance with the applicable licence terms and any usage restrictions specified by PWS.
Legal basis for our processing of personal data
We process your personal data to provide access to the PWS Media Bank, administer registered user accounts, protect copyright and licence agreements, and improve the Media Bank. This processing is based on our legitimate interests and, where applicable, the performance of a contract.

You may contact us using the details below to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, or to exercise any of your rights under the GDPR, including the right to object to processing or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you have a registered account, you can also access and update your personal information by logging in and visiting "My Page" in the PWS Media Bank.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If any changes significantly affect the way we process your personal data, we will notify you where required by applicable law.
